The Concrete Countertop Build Sequence
On-site template
We visit to measure cabinets, confirm edge style, select finish and colour, and mark where cut-outs and seams will land.
Form construction
Custom forms are built to match the template exactly, with reinforcement placed to prevent cracking and openings blocked for sink and cooktop.
Pour and cure
Concrete is cast into the forms, vibrated to remove air pockets, and left to cure. Depending on size and access, this happens in our shop or on-site.
Finish and seal
The surface is ground to the finish you selected, sealed against stains and heat, then installed level on the cabinets.

Sealed concrete resists stains and heat well and is harder than it looks, but like any counter it is not indestructible. We seal it properly and give you the simple care steps that keep it looking new for years.
Square, eased, bullnose and custom edges, with honed, polished or lightly textured surfaces. We confirm the edge, finish and colour on the template visit so the cast counter matches what you pictured.
Either, depending on size and access. Smaller counters are often cast in our shop and installed finished; larger or wrap-around counters may be cast in place. We confirm which on the estimate.
