Kitchens, Fire Pits & Pool Decks Built as One Yard

A backyard's concrete surfaces need to work together. Kitchen counters, fire-pit pads, pool decks and pathways all face Nevada weather, freeze-thaw cycles and heavy use. We design and pour them as a single system, finished to match and built to last. Every project includes a free written estimate and a firm completion date.

Integrated approach

Why Backyard Concrete Works Best as One Project

Outdoor spaces fail when their hard surfaces are added piecemeal. A kitchen counter poured one year, a fire pit pad the next, a pool deck resurfaced five years later. Each piece looks different, sits at a different elevation, and the seams between them collect water and crack.

We treat the entire yard as a single concrete system. The kitchen counter, the fire-pit base, the pool deck, and connecting pathways all get the same finish, colour, and slope. They're poured on the same schedule, cured together, and sealed as one.

This unified approach means no awkward transitions, no colour mismatches, and no weak points where separate pours meet. The slab gets a compacted base, air-entrained concrete, proper drainage, and control joints on a grid. That's what keeps a high-value backyard from heaving or cracking through its first Las Vegas winter, and it extends to every other residential concrete on your property.

Our process

From Site Visit to Finished Outdoor Space

  1. Site assessment and layout

We visit the yard, measure the kitchen, fire pit, deck and pathways, and sketch how they connect as one plan.

  2. Prep and base work

Each area is excavated to depth, compacted, and graded so water drains away from the house and pool.

  3. Concrete pour and finish

We pour all surfaces on the same schedule, finishing them stamped, exposed-aggregate or coloured to match throughout.

  4. Cure, seal and handoff

The slab cures, control joints are cut, sealer is applied, and we walk you through the care and maintenance plan.

Service breakdown

What Gets Poured in a Complete Outdoor Living Project

Most backyards combine several concrete elements. An outdoor kitchen requires a solid, level counter and a pad for appliances and seating. A fire pit or fire table needs a non-combustible base sized to the gathering area around it.

A pool deck takes the hardest beating: wet feet, sun exposure, chlorine splash, and freeze-thaw stress. It gets a textured or exposed-aggregate finish for slip resistance and a slope that sheds water. When an existing deck is structurally sound but worn, pool deck resurfacing applies a fresh finish without a full tear-out and replacement.

Common questions

Outdoor Living Concrete Questions, Answered

Designing, pouring and caring for outdoor kitchens, fire pits and pool decks in Las Vegas.

We pour the hard surfaces of a backyard, outdoor kitchen counters and pads, fire-pit pads, and pool decks, plus resurfacing for decks that are sound but dated.
It usually should. Designing the kitchen, fire pit, deck and pathways as one plan means the finishes, colours and elevations match and there are no awkward seams between separate pours added over different years.
Not when it is finished for the job. We use broom, exposed-aggregate or textured finishes that stay slip-resistant wet, and we plan drainage so water runs off the deck instead of pooling.
Yes. A properly built concrete pad is non-combustible and the right base for a fire pit or fire table. We size the pad to the seating area and build it on a compacted base like any other slab.
If the deck is structurally sound, resurfacing lays a fresh, slip-resistant finish over it for far less than a tear-out. We confirm the slab is sound on the free estimate first.

★★★★★

Did the outdoor kitchen counter, a fire-pit pad and the surrounding patio as one project. Everything matches because they planned it together from the start.

Pool deck drains exactly the way they promised and it is not slippery underfoot. Survived its first winter with no cracking or lifting.

Resurfaced our old pool deck rather than ripping it out. New finish, slip-resistant, and it cost a fraction of what a replacement would have.

The fire-table pad is sized perfectly for our seating and the colour ties into the patio. They thought about the whole yard, not just the one piece.
