Las Vegas Commercial Parking Lots That Stay Open During Construction
Your parking lot handles trucks, cars, and foot traffic every day while shedding rain and snow. We build new slabs graded for drainage, repair lots that pond or crack, construct multi-level structures, and install curb and gutter. Work happens in phases so your business never loses parking access. Every project includes a free written estimate and a phasing schedule.
- Drainage engineered into every slab
- Bases sized for heavy vehicle loads
- Phased work keeps your lot open
Foundation matters
How Parking Lot Drainage Prevents Cracking and Failure
Most parking lots fail because water sits on them. When a slab is not graded to shed water, moisture seeps into the base, freezes in winter, and heaves the concrete. Traffic then cracks it. The fix is not patching the surface, it is rebuilding the drainage.
We start every parking project by surveying the site and setting grades so water runs off, not toward your building or loading dock. The sub-base is compacted to carry the weight of loaded trucks and turning vehicles. Control joints are saw-cut on a grid so any cracking happens in the joint, not across the slab. Curb and gutter channels runoff to storm drains.
This approach works for new parking lot pours and for parking lot repair. When an existing lot is failing, we address the cause. See our commercial concrete work across Las Vegas.
The sequence
Pouring a Las Vegas Parking Lot in Phases
-
Site survey and grading plan
We measure the lot, determine where water needs to go, and plan which sections pour first so the business stays operational.
-
Prep, compact, and form
The sub-base is prepared and compacted to handle vehicle loads. Forms and rebar are set to the slab thickness and joint pattern.
-
Pour, finish, and joint
Concrete is placed in phases, finished to the specified texture, and control joints are saw-cut while the slab is still green.
-
Cure and phase reopen
Each section cures for the required time, then reopens to traffic while the next phase is being poured and finished.
Complete solutions
Multi-Level Parking Structures and Edge Protection
Not every lot is flat. When you need vertical parking, a parking structure requires ramps, decks, and load ratings all engineered together. We pour to the structural engineer's drawings and coordinate with steel, mechanical, and other trades on site.
Most parking projects also include curb and gutter, which protects the slab edges, defines the lot boundary, and channels water away from the building. When an existing lot is spalling or cracking badly, parking lot repair removes the failed section and rebuilds it with proper drainage and base.

Parking Lot Questions, Answered
Drainage, scheduling, repair and what commercial parking concrete involves in Las Vegas.
Repoured the whole customer lot in phases over two weekends. We never lost parking on a business day and the new lot finally drains instead of ponding.
Our old lot was cracking everywhere. They showed us it was a base and drainage problem and fixed the cause, not just the surface. Holding up well.
Added curb and gutter when they repoured our front lot. Edges are protected, runoff goes where it should, and the whole thing looks sharp.
Poured to our engineer's drawings and coordinated with the other trades without us having to babysit it. Clean, on-schedule work.
