Las Vegas Concrete Patios That Drain and Last

Your backyard becomes an outdoor room when you have a solid, level place to stand. We pour patios with proper slope so water runs away from the house, finish them in stamped, exposed-aggregate or plain concrete, and handle tight access with pumps and wheelbarrow routes. Every project starts with a free written estimate and a clear timeline.

Foundation matters

Why Patio Base Work Determines Longevity

A patio that lasts through Las Vegas heat, cold snaps and monsoon rains starts below grade. We excavate to proper depth, lay a compacted granular base, and set forms with a two-percent slope away from the house so water never pools on the slab or migrates toward the foundation.

The concrete itself is air-entrained to handle freeze-thaw cycles, and control joints are cut on a grid that works with the yard's layout. On stamped patios, those joints disappear into the pattern so the finished look stays clean.

We tie new patios into existing driveways, steps, and walkways so the whole yard reads as one cohesive concrete system.

The sequence

How a Las Vegas Patio Pour Unfolds

  1. Site visit and access plan

We walk the yard, measure the area, confirm the slope direction, and determine whether a truck can back in or if we need a pump or wheelbarrow runs.

  2. Excavate, base, and form

The slab area is dug out, a compacted granular base is laid, and wooden or metal forms are set to the finished height and drainage slope.

  3. Mix, place, and finish

We deliver or pump the concrete, screed it level, and apply your chosen finish: stamped pattern, exposed aggregate wash, or a clean broom finish.

  4. Joint, cure, and handoff

Control joints are cut on layout, the slab cures under cover, and we provide a written cure schedule and the date you can use the patio.

Three finishes

Choose the Patio Finish That Fits Your Budget

A plain concrete patio is the most economical choice, a smooth broom-finished surface that takes furniture, grills and foot traffic without fuss or pattern.

Stamped concrete presses a slate, flagstone or wood-plank pattern into the slab before it sets, creating texture and visual interest. Exposed aggregate washes back the top layer to reveal the stone in the mix, giving natural grip and a rustic look.

If your existing patio is sound but tired, patio resurfacing applies a fresh layer without demolition, saving time and cost.

Common questions

Concrete Patio Questions, Answered

Cost, access, finishes and timing for a concrete patio in Las Vegas.

Concrete patios in Las Vegas generally run $12 to $20 per square foot depending on the finish, the size and access to the yard. A plain patio sits at the low end; stamped work runs higher. Every quote is written and itemised after a site measure.
Yes. Most Las Vegas backyards are reached with a concrete pump or wheelbarrow runs when a truck cannot back in. We check access on the free estimate and build the method into the quote, so a narrow gate is not a dealbreaker.
We build a deliberate slope away from the house into the base and forms, usually around two percent, so rain and meltwater run off instead of sitting on the slab or draining toward the foundation.
All concrete moves, so we control where. A compacted base, an air-entrained mix and control joints cut on layout keep shrinkage in the joint line. On a stamped patio those joints tuck into the pattern.
Most patios are placed in a day. You can walk on it within 24 to 48 hours and put furniture out after about a week. We give you the exact cure schedule when we hand it over.

Stamped a slate pattern across the whole patio. The colour matched the sample and the joints disappear into the pattern, exactly like they said they would.

Our yard has a narrow side gate so I assumed concrete was out. They pumped it over the fence and the patio drains away from the house perfectly.

Went with a plain broom finish to keep the budget down. It is flat, clean and the furniture sits level. No regrets going simple.

Resurfaced a tired old patio instead of tearing it out. Looks new, cost a fraction of a full replacement, and they were honest that the slab was still good.
