Site measurement and soil check
We measure the height to be retained, look at the slope and soil type, and determine what footing depth and reinforcement the grade requires.
Excavate and set footing
The footing is dug to the engineered depth and width, then concrete is poured and cured before the wall rises above it.
Form or lay block, place rebar
For a poured wall, forms are set and rebar is tied in place. For block, each course is laid and cored, with rebar inserted vertically and horizontally.
Pour or complete, then drain
Concrete is placed and finished, or block is grouted. A drainage layer and weeping tile are installed behind the wall before backfill.
