Pumping Concrete to Hard-to-Reach Placements in Las Vegas
Concrete trucks park on the street. Slabs go up eight floors, down basement stairs, or behind a fence. A pump bridges that gap, moving the mix from the truck to the exact spot where it needs to be placed and finished. Las Vegas Concrete operates boom and line pumps with trained operators, plus pump rental for crews running their own pours.

The placement challenge
When Concrete Pumping Becomes the Only Option
Concrete sets fast and weighs a lot. A ready-mix truck can only park where the street allows, but the slab might be on the third floor, down a basement stairwell, or in a backyard behind a fence. That is where a pump earns its place on the job.
A boom pump has an articulated arm that swings over obstacles, reaches up multiple storeys, and places concrete exactly where the operator aims it. A line pump threads concrete through a steel hose, around corners and down tight spaces a truck cannot navigate.
For crews running their own placement, pump rental puts the machine and operator on site while your team handles the finishing work. We use the same equipment for our manufacturing and food-processing pours.
Pumping sequence
How Concrete Pumping Gets Scheduled and Executed
-
Assess the site and pour
We measure the placement location, confirm the volume and timing, and determine whether a boom or line pump fits the access and reach requirements.
-
Position and test the pump
The pump is set up on stable ground, outriggers are locked, the hose or boom is tested, and we sync the arrival time with the ready-mix truck.
-
Pump concrete at placement rate
The operator controls the flow so concrete moves at the speed your crew can place and finish it, preventing backups in the line or truck.
-
Flush and remove the pump
After the pour, the hose is flushed clean on site, the pump is secured, and the site is left ready for the next phase of work.
Pump types and uses
Choosing Between Boom Pump, Line Pump and Rental
A boom pump excels when vertical reach or height is the constraint. Multi-storey slabs, large flatwork pours, and placements over buildings or trees all benefit from the boom's articulated arm and precision placement.
A line pump solves access problems by threading concrete through doorways, around structural columns, and down basement stairs. Concrete pump rental is the answer when your crew has the labour and finishing skill but needs the equipment and operator to move the mix safely.

Pumping questions
Concrete Pumping FAQs for Las Vegas Projects
Boom versus line, scheduling with ready-mix, rental, reach and cold-weather pumping.
Boom pumped a backyard patio that no truck could have reached. Arrived on time, set up clean, and the operator placed every wheelbarrow's worth exactly where we pointed.
Elevated slab over the third floor. The boom reach was bang on the spec and the placement matched the ready-mix delivery rate so nothing waited.
Rented the pump for our own pour. Operator ran it safely and patiently while we placed and finished. Saved us a day.
Line pump through a narrow basement door, around a corner, to footings a truck could never reach. Clean placement, clean cleanup.
