Concrete Pads for Fire Pits & Fire Tables in Las Vegas

When you want a fire pit or fire table in the backyard, it needs a solid, level concrete pad underneath. We pour pads that are non-combustible, sized to your seating and clearance needs, and built to survive Las Vegas winters. Finished to blend with the rest of your yard's concrete or as a standalone gathering spot. Free written estimate on every project.

  • Finished to match your yard

The foundation of gathering

Why a Fire Pit Pad Matters More Than You Think

A fire pit or fire table sitting on dirt or grass is unstable, unsafe, and will sink. A concrete pad solves all three. It anchors the fire feature, keeps it level through the seasons, and provides a non-combustible surface that won't char or settle under heat and weight.

The pad also defines the gathering zone. It gives your seating a stable, level base, keeps people at the right distance from the heat, and creates a finished look that says the yard was planned. We pour it on a compacted base, finish it broom-rough for grip, and size it to the fire feature plus the chairs or benches around it.

Whether the pad stands alone or ties into an existing concrete patio, connects to an outdoor kitchen counter, or sits near a pool deck, we match the finish and elevation so it reads as part of the whole yard.

From site to finished pad

How We Build a Fire-Pit Pad in Las Vegas

  1. Measure the fire feature and seating

We visit the site, confirm the fire pit or fire table you have or plan to buy, measure the seating area you want around it, and check clearance to the house and any structures nearby.

  2. Excavate and prepare the base

The pad area is dug to depth, a compacted granular base is laid for drainage and stability, and forms are set to the finished shape with a slight slope to shed water away.

  3. Pour and finish the concrete

Air-entrained concrete is placed, screeded level, and finished with a broom texture for traction. Reinforcement and proper thickness are built in to handle the fire feature and seating loads.

  4. Control joints and cure

Control joints are cut on a grid to manage concrete movement, the pad is cured to schedule, and you get a handoff date when it is ready for the fire feature and your first gathering.

Outdoor living ecosystem

A Fire-Pit Pad Completes the Backyard

The fire pit is rarely the only concrete in a finished outdoor space. It works best alongside a patio for seating, an outdoor kitchen for cooking, and a pool deck for lounging. When all of these are poured as one coordinated project, the finishes match, the drainage works together, and the whole yard feels intentional.

We design and build fire-pit pads as part of the larger outdoor living strategy, so the pad doesn't look like an afterthought. It becomes the heart of the yard, the place where everyone naturally gathers.

Common questions

Fire Pit & Fire Table Pad Questions, Answered

Size, clearance, non-combustible bases and how fire-pit pads fit a Las Vegas yard.

Sized to the fire feature plus the seating around it plus clearance. The pad has to hold the fire feature centrally, give seating a stable base, and keep proper distance from the house and combustible structures. We size it for your specific feature.
Yes. Concrete itself does not burn. A properly built concrete pad is the textbook non-combustible base for a fire pit, fire table or chimenea, and the surrounding clearance keeps the heat away from anything that can burn.
Most. The pad accommodates fire pits, fire tables, chimeneas and even custom built-in features. We confirm the fire feature you have or plan to install when sizing the pad and the clearance around it.
Either works. Tied in, the patio and pad read as one continuous space, ideal when the seating spills over. Separate, the pad becomes a distinct gathering point. We design to your layout preference.
Not when poured and detailed properly. Air-entrained concrete with reinforcement and proper control joints handles the localised heat of a fire feature, especially when the feature itself is built to direct heat upward.
