Volumetric Concrete in Las Vegas

Volumetric concrete is mixed on site in a calibrated truck that proportions cement, aggregate and water on demand. You pay for the cubic yards actually used, not the full load. Las Vegas Concrete dispatches volumetric trucks for variable-volume pours, remote sites, multi-stop deliveries, and any project where standard ready mix's all-or-nothing batch is the wrong economics. Every order starts with a free written quote.

When volumetric wins

What Volumetric Concrete Is Best For

Standard ready mix bills the full load whether you use it or not. For pours where the volume is uncertain (foundation patches, multi-stop deliveries, repair work, custom-shape pours), the unused concrete from a standard load is wasted money. Volumetric trucks fix this by mixing only what you order from cement and aggregate carried on the truck.

Volumetric also works for remote sites where standard truck wait times would set the concrete before placement, and for small specialty pours where a full standard load is overkill. The on-site mixer can also adjust mix design on the fly within calibrated ranges, useful when the placement crew calls for a different slump than initially ordered.

Same dispatch across our ready mix services and the broader industrial concrete work. For most predictable-volume pours, standard ready mix is the better-value choice; for specialty mixes, see specialty concrete mixes.

How it works

How We Schedule Volumetric in Las Vegas

  1. Confirm spec and estimate

We confirm the mix spec and your estimated volume range, with the understanding that you will pay for actual yards mixed and placed rather than the estimate.

  2. Truck arrives with raw materials

The volumetric truck arrives with cement, aggregates and water in calibrated storage compartments, ready to mix on demand at the placement zone.

  3. Mix and discharge as needed

The truck mixes concrete in batches that match your placement pace, discharging fresh concrete continuously as needed without waiting for a separate truck to deliver.

  4. Bill actual placed yards

At the end of the pour, the truck meter reads the actual yards mixed, the bill reflects that volume rather than the original estimate. You pay for what you used, period.

Where volumetric falls short

Volumetric Has a Sweet Spot

Volumetric is not the right answer for every pour. For high-volume pours where rotation of standard trucks delivers more total yards per hour, standard ready mix is faster. For specialty mixes outside the volumetric truck's calibrated range, specialty pre-batched supply is better. Volumetric wins on variable-volume, remote-site, and small-pour projects.

We will recommend volumetric only when it fits. For pump-coordinated pours, our concrete pumping dispatch coordinates with whichever ready mix dispatch is right; the two services work together regardless of mix-supply type across our industrial concrete work.

Common questions

Volumetric Concrete Questions, Answered

Calibration, mix adjustments, remote-site delivery and billing.

Volumetric trucks use calibrated proportioning systems that meet industry accuracy standards. The mix spec is consistent within tolerance; calibration is verified on the truck regularly and supports any quality documentation needed.
Within the truck's calibration ranges, yes. Slump, water content, and admixture dosing can be adjusted at the placement zone in response to what the crew needs. Major mix changes (different cement type, structural admixtures) need to be planned upfront.
Usually yes per actual yard, but the all-in cost for variable-volume pours is often lower because you do not pay for unused yards. The cost comparison depends on the specific project; we will run the math at quote time.
Yes, often the best option. Standard truck wait time on remote sites can exceed the working window for the mix; volumetric mixes on demand at the site so no wait-time setting issue.
Per cubic yard actually mixed and discharged, with a minimum charge and a delivery fee. The meter on the truck reads the actual yards; billing reflects that number, not the estimate.

★★★★★

Volumetric for a foundation patch where I had no idea exactly how many yards I would need. Mixed what I used, paid for what I used. Saved me the cost of a wasted half-load. Right tool for the job.

Job site two hours from any plant. Volumetric truck mixed on arrival, no wait-time setting issue. Pour went smoothly, billing matched actual yards. Real solution for remote work.

★★★★★

Multi-stop delivery for a series of small repair pours across town. Volumetric handled all of them on one truck, billed per stop. Way more efficient than ordering separate small loads.

Q. Q5

★★★★★

They were honest that volumetric was the right tool for my variable-volume work and standard would be wrong. Trust earned by recommending the right service even when it is theirs.
