Stamped concrete transforms commercial entries, plazas, and feature zones into stone-textured surfaces without the cost or upkeep of real masonry. Las Vegas Concrete builds the slab to commercial standards, then applies the pattern, integral color, and weather-rated sealer that survive public foot traffic and our freeze-thaw cycle. Stamped concrete fails when the slab itself is weak. A thin pour, poor base prep, or wrong joint spacing cracks through the pattern and ruins the finish. We start with the same structural foundation we use for parking lot concrete and commercial sidewalk work: proper subgrade compaction, gravel base, correct slab thickness, reinforcement, and a joint plan that controls where cracks happen.
Once the slab is sound, the pattern is stamped at the right moment in the cure cycle so the impression is crisp and the color is locked in. Integral color runs through the entire slab, so chips expose the same tone, not grey concrete. The sealer is formulated for UV exposure and our winter temperature swings, protecting both the color and the surface texture.
We bring sample boards showing the stamped pattern (stone, brick, ashlar, cobble, or custom) and integral color options. You confirm the look at real scale before any concrete is ordered.
Prepare base and set forms
Subgrade is compacted, gravel base is laid, forms are set to grade, and reinforcement is positioned. The slab is engineered for the intended use and local freeze-thaw conditions.
Pour, consolidate, and stamp
Concrete with integral color is placed and worked to remove air. At the right plasticity window, the pattern is stamped into the surface with crisp, even pressure.
Cure, seal, and hand off
The slab cures per specification, then is sealed with a UV- and freeze-thaw-rated commercial sealer. You receive a maintenance schedule for re-sealing every few years.
Long-term performance
Re-Sealing is the Key to Durability
A stamped slab that gets re-sealed on schedule looks fresh for a decade or more. Without re-seals, the color fades, the surface dulls, and the protective layer erodes. The sealer is the working component; the slab and integral color are permanent.
We provide a maintenance plan at project completion that specifies the re-seal interval (typically every 2-3 years in Las Vegas) and the sealer product. Coordinate timing with adjacent commercial sidewalk and curb and gutter maintenance so the whole site stays uniform.

Stamped stone, brick, ashlar slate, cobble, custom patterns. Each can be matched to the building's architecture or the surrounding hardscape. We bring sample boards so the pattern decision happens with real swatches in your hand, not photographs.
Integral color (mixed through the slab) is permanent; it cannot fade because it is throughout the concrete. The sealer that protects the color and the surface needs reapplication every few years here to maintain the sharp look.
Less than smooth-troweled concrete, more than broom finish. We use anti-slip additives in the sealer for high-pedestrian areas or where slip is a concern, particularly at entries with foot traffic in our winters.
Sectional replacement to match pattern and color is possible but visible; the joint between old and new shows. Stamped is best treated as a long-term install with maintenance rather than as a serviceable surface like asphalt.
Depends on size and pattern complexity. A typical commercial entry runs a week or so from pour to seal; larger plazas stretch to multiple weeks. The schedule is in the quote so you can plan around the work.
